PsychoYoga Path

What is PsychoYoga?

Psychoyoga is an approach that integrates psychological analysis with the movement of the body and meditation of Mindfulness Yoga. In a circular flow, the contents emerged in the clinical interviews are used in the construction of the Yoga lessons, and the consequent guided meditations; as well as, what emerges at the body level during the Mindfulness Yoga sessions is then reworked in the clinical interviews. The goal is to find a 360-degree psycho-physical balance.

How is a PsychoYoga path structured?

A PsicoYoga path consists of a consultation phase that is used by the professional to define the client's desired state, or what are the changes he expects to see when the Psicoyoga path ends. Subsequently, the objectives to be achieved in a given period are established together with the client. From here, the PsychoYoga path begins, consisting of a yoga session and a clinical interview on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

An Individual PsychoYoga path is especially aimed at those suffering from anxiety disorders or panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorders, eating disorders, depression, disorders of the sexual sphere. All these disorders involve a misalignment between mind and body that can be more effectively addressed in an integrated path, which involves both the bodily aspects of the symptom and the mental ones.

Path of PsychoYoga for Couples

This path is aimed at couples experiencing relationship crises. PsychoYoga helps couples to find in clinical interviews a space for sharing to develop a dialogue of listening and respect, and in yoga a balance by practicing the acceptance of oneself and of the other. This path is also aimed at couples who face a sexual problem; PsychoYoga helps to regain bodily awareness of oneself and of the other, and their intimacy. Ultimately, PsychoYoga helps the couple to positively restructure the relationship.
